Welcome to the School of Business at Dalton State College. We want our Website to be an efficient and useful source of information for you. We invite your feedback and any suggestions for improvements.
Our primary goal is to provide students with the skills and attributes necessary to succeed in a competitive business environment. While our programs are designed to provide information to students in all the functional areas of business, we feel it is critical for students to develop excellent communication and problem solving skills. In addition, our students are expected to understand and appreciate the internationalization of commerce and the tremendous role of technology in today’s business world. We believe, as do most successful businesses, continuous improvement is the only way to provide quality service. We evaluate and revise our curriculum and teaching methods to meet the changing demands of the workplace.
Our students deserve the best, and we work to provide excellent interactive learning experiences through projects, presentations, technology, internships, and directed studies. A very bright and dedicated faculty and staff work diligently to engage students in the learning process and to help students achieve their goals. We are also fortunate to have strong support from community business leaders, many of whom actively participate in the educational experiences of our students by speaking to classes and clubs, serving on our Business Advisory Council, and providing intern and employment opportunities for our students.
The School of Business at Dalton State College is an exciting place to be as we continue to provide quality services to our students and to the Northwest Georgia business community.
