The Business Office’s controls the
establishment and maintenance of the
University’s operation, auxiliary,
capital, and student activities budgets
to insure proper use of funds as
determined by Dalton State College's
leadership and in conjunction with
institutional planning efforts. This
office is also responsible for the
establishment and monitoring of all
external contract and grant accounts and
distribution of related indirect cost
allocations. The Business Office is to
provide excellent customer service by
assisting the university community in
maximizing the utilization of fiscal
resources in a manner that is consistent
with guidelines established by the Board
of Regents of the University System of
Georgia, as well as federal, state, and
local government agencies.
