Disability Support Services (DSS) are provided through the Academic Resources (AR) department of Dalton State to help meet the needs of students with disabilities by:

• Coordinating the process for determining eligibility for accommodations
• Assisting students in obtaining appropriate accommodations
• Advocating for students with disabilities by educating faculty, staff, and students
• Supporting students to serve as their own personal advocates
