Welcome to the DSCid# information web site. This site has been designed to provide current information to the Dalton State College community concerning the project to create, implement and use the new DSCid#.

Effective May 9, 2007, Dalton State College will no longer use Social Security Numbers as a primary way to identify DSC students and employees; instead, a unique identifier called the DSCid# will be assigned. The DSCid# will be used across all systems, applications, and many business processes throughout the lifetime of an individual's association with the university. This change is in accordance with DSC's new "Social Security Number Policy". This step is critical in the continuing efforts to reduce the risk of identity theft for the campus community.
