Biography:
Director of Institutional Research and Planning at Dalton State College, Dr. Codjoe also teaches Sociology, African History, and Intercultural Education in the Department of Social Sciences and School of Education . Born in Ghana, West Africa, he emigrated to Canada in 1974, and since 1997 has been living in the United States. He received his B.A. degree in international affairs at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec; his M.A. and D.P.A. degrees in international affairs and public administration at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. While working for the Government of Alberta's Department of Education as a researcher, planner, and policy analyst, he earned his Ph.D. in educational policy studies, specializing in international and intercultural education at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
