Biography:

Heather S. Shores is the Assistant Director for the Bandy Heritage Center for Northwest Georgia and an Assistant Professor of History. She holds a B.A. and Master's Degree in History with an emphasis in Public History/Museum Studies from University of West Georgia. For the past ten years, Heather has been active in the museum field, having worked for The Atlanta History Center, The Museum of History & Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University, and The Center for the Study of the Civil War Era at Kennesaw State University. She also teaches courses on Public History, Museum Studies, Collections Management for Museums, and U.S. History.
