A native of
Dallas, Texas, I moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1971
where I attended East Ridge High School and graduated from
Chattanooga State in 1979. In 1986 I married my husband Ron
and moved to Dalton. We have three grandsons, Andre', Ross
and Reade.
I began working for University of West Georgia's Dalton
External Degree Program in 1995 and transferred to Dalton
State College in May, 2005. Ron and I are both active in
our church, First Baptist Dalton, and work as Preschool
Sunday School co-directors and I serve as Women's Ministry
Team Leader.
Community work is important to me and I serve as the Chair
of the NW Georgia Regional Library Board and serve on the
Dalton/Whitfield Regional Library Board, Tallulah Falls
School Board of Directors, and am an active member of the
Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs.
My grandson's are my passion, along with reading, traveling,
needlepoint, and scrapbooking!.
