The comments and examples that follow are Dr. Michael Hoff's, Chair, Student Development Services Committee. They are here with his permission. I have substituted " Institutional Effectiveness" for "Student Development Services."
SACS has suggested that there are two institutions whose self-studies are worthy of close examination. They are Virginia Tech and University of North Florida. You have each been provided with a paper copy of the Institutional Effectiveness section of those self-studies, and I've provided links to the total self-studies, below.
However, those institutions are both larger, more comprehensive institutions than ours, so I'm providing a number of other models for us to examine, as well. Some of these institutions have been accredited; others are in the process. I have included institutions at all levels, so we can get a sense of what else is going on. There are many more than these on the web; this represents a short search. Please note that I haven't explored any of these. I've just gone to them to make sure they exist. I imagine some are great and some are awful...
SACS recommended self-studies:
Virginia Tech
University of North Florida
(I don't know if we are supposed to know this, but you can access the self
study by inputting "osprey" and "osprey" when asked for username and password.
Don't tell anyone...)
