I am originally from Montgomery County, Maryland. I completed my undergraduate work at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. After earning a degree in Early Childhood Education, I taught elementary school for many years in Baltimore City. While completing my M.A. at Hood College, I taught fourth grade in a private school, and I was an adjunct faculty member at Frederick Community College. I began teaching at Dalton State College in August 1998. I teach developmental and credit reading courses.
