• First you must create a GAcollege411 account.
• Log on to www.gacollege411.org.
• Click on "Create an Account" at the top left of the gacollege411 homepage.

Screen 1 - Set up Your Profile

• Type name, date of birth (use slashes) and email address (Note: if you don't have an email address, one will be assigned to you - just click the box provided.)
• Set up your username and password - use something appropriate and that you can remember.  Don't forget that college officials will also see your username.
• Enter a password hint question and answer.  This is so that if you forget your password you can regain access to your account.  

Screen 2 - Address and Grade Level

• Complete the mailing address, phone information, etc.
• Select current grade level.

Screen 3 - Finalize Account Creation

• Click on "My411."
• Click on "My Profile (some fields will be pre-populated.)
• Even though your mailing address was collected when the account was created, your permanent address must be completed in the profile.
• PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO PUT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER IN THE PROFILE.
• Click "save" - your profile has been submitted.
• Return to the gacolleg411 homepage.
• Follow the directions below to complete the HOPE Application.

• Click on the tab at the top of the page labeled "Applications & Transcripts."
• Click on the link "GSFAPPS"
• You will see the Welcome Screen - PLEASE READ IT IN FULL
• Click "Apply Now" at the bottom of the screen to apply online
• Click "SUBMIT NEW APPLICATION"

Note: In order to select any program, first click on the program name you want to apply for.  This will open an informational box containing the program requirements.  At the bottom of the dialogue box, click "Apply for this program" and then click "Select."

Part 1 - Student Demographic Information

Most information will pre-populate the form.  Please complete the sections that are empty.  If you make a mistake in any field other than social security number or birth date, go back and make any necessary corrections.  You will be prompted to do a final review of your information before submitting.  When finished, click "Continue."

Part 2 - Summary Information

Edit this information if necessary and then click "Submit."

Part 3 - Electronic Signature

Please read the certification carefully, enter your gacollege411 password and hit "Submit."  Read and print a copy for your records.
