Dalton State College seeks an experienced and
highly qualified leader to join the college’s
enrollment services team as the Director of
Financial Aid. This person will have
responsibility for administering a comprehensive
student financial aid program totaling over $18
million dollars annually. Responsibilities
include ensuring compliance with federal and
state regulations, supervision of six full-time
staff members, and working with other enrollment
services offices to coordinate the student
enrollment process.
Candidates should have an earned bachelor’s
degree, master’s degree preferred. A minimum of
four years of progressively responsible
financial aid experience is required.
Experience working with the Banner information
system and the Georgia HOPE Scholarship Program
is preferred. The applicant should have an
understanding of enrollment management, strong
analytical skills, the ability to work
collaboratively, and a proactive approach to
service.
The position is available January 1, 2010. This
is a 12-month staff position. Salary is
commensurate with experience and credentials,
and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
