Plagiarism and Cheating Detection Tools

There are many sites on the Internet that give tips in detecting plagiarism. These sites usually contain information for students explaining what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. So called “paper mill sites” where students can purchase entire research papers can be found easily. You can check for content on these sites as well as using search engines to look for passages of text. The Center for Academic Integrity states that having an active HONOR Code in place lowers instances of cheating.
