Dalton State's Robert Culp to Discuss Economy at Wednesday Lunch & Learn
Dr. Robert Culp, Assistant Professor of Economics for Dalton State College, will present “Economics of the Unseen: Making Sense of Today’s Economic Problems” at the next Dalton State Alumni Lunch & Learn program. Dr. Culp’s program will take place at Little Rome Italian Restaurant, 1201 North Third Avenue, Chatsworth, Georgia, from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.
“It is difficult to understand complex systems,” Dr. Culp said. “Even intelligent people may fail to account for important connections that lead to surprising outcomes. Recent government actions have failed to turn the economy around. This presentation will look at some of these connections and explain how they affect job growth, food prices, and create economic uncertainty.”
Reservations and advance payment are required. Cost is $8 for Dalton State alumni; $10 for members of the public. To make a reservation, call the Alumni Relations office at 706-272-2473.
These one-hour lunchtime programs provide alumni and members of the public an opportunity to network and learn something that will add value to their personal or professional lives.
