Dr. Mike Adams, who teaches Criminal Justice at UNC-Wilmington, will be the guest of Dalton State’s Philosophy Club and the College Republicans on November 16 when he speaks in Memorial Hall on the topic of “academic free speech.”
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Adams, a former Democrat, is a member of the Republican Party and is a vocal critic of many recent trends in academia. He has made appearances on shows like
Hannity and Colmes, the O’Reilly Factor and
Scarborough Country. He has also written columns for Townhall.com.
Adams is the author of the book Welcome to the Ivory Tower of Babel.
