The program is a rigorous and intensive program leading to the Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. It provides graduates with the knowledge and clinical expertise necessary to give direct patient care to patients in a variety of settings. Upon graduation graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurse licensure (NCLEX-RN). The program is approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing (237 Coliseum Drive, Macon, GA 31217, (912) 207-1640) and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (61 Broadway, New York, NY 10006, (212) 363-5555).
