Welcome to the webpage for Nursing!! Our mission is to prepare students for employment as safe, effective, caring nurse generalists who provide healthcare throughout the community, region, and state. We provide a supportive, caring, teaching/learning environment which recognizes and values the cultural, ethnic, and gender diversity of our student population. The ASN curriculum is designed to meet the needs of various educational backgrounds and abilities through our plans I, II, and III. The ASN program includes general education and nursing courses to supply students with the knowledge and clinical expertise necessary to give direct nursing care to patients/clients of all ages in a variety of clinical settings.

We are also proud to offer an RN to BSN program. Once you have become a licensed RN, we can provide a seamless progression to a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in as little as 3 semesters, depending upon the pre-requisites you have completed. Many of the BSN courses are offered in hybrid format or meet at a time which is more convenient for the employed RN. Through preceptorships in the area of your desired specialty, you can progress to nursing leadership, care management , informatics, or other evidence based practice roles within the nursing profession.
