Home Contacts Information Enrollment Services Home   Forms Application Form Appeal Form Recommendation	Tech-Prep Georgia HOPE Grant Program The Tech-Prep Georgia HOPE Grant Program allows Georgia public high school students to enroll in certificate and technical-level courses at Georgia technical colleges, with tuition paid by the Georgia HOPE Grants. To enroll in the Tech-Prep programs at Dalton State College, a student must: Be 16 years of age or older Achieve Compass Placement test scores of at least: 35 in English 35 in pre-algebra 62 in reading Achieve CPAT Placement test scores of at least: 52 language usage 54 numerical skills 51 reading skills
	Notes: SAT/ACT scores are not required for admission to the Tech-Prep Georgia HOPE Grant Program, and there is no minimum high school grade point average, but students must be exempt from all Learning Support requirements.
