Students can be placed on a waiting list for courses that have wait lists; not all courses have wait lists. Students will need to fill out the Dalton State College Schedule Adjustment form, complete with CRN# and Course Title, sign form indicating wait list, and submit the form to the Office of Enrollment Services.
Students will be placed on the wait list in the order that forms are received. Instructors/ advisors cannot add students to waitlisted classes. Instructors/advisors cannot override existing waitlists to add students to the class ahead of others already waitlisted. Students will be added to openings on a weekly basis and notified via email at their Dalton State email address if they have been moved off the waitlist into a course.
If you have requested to be added to a waitlist, the Registrar’s office does not check for time conflicts.
Please be sure to remove yourself from a waitlist if you change your mind.
If you are on a waitlist, it is assumed you want that class more than another class that you may have registered for during the same time slot.
If a student request to be placed on more than one wait list for the same course, that student will be placed into the first available opening and removed from the other wait lists.
Please check your course schedule in Banner often to be aware of any changes that are made to your enrollment status.
