| The DSC Bachelor of Social Work degree is designed to provide highly trained, culturally competent professional social workers, who have a working-level knowledge of Spanish, for the rapidly expanding social service sector in Northwest Georgia with particular attention to the Hispanic/Latino community. Students in the BSW program, who are frequently from the Southern Appalachian region, are also provided with enhanced knowledge relative to the long-term residents of the Southern Appalachian region. |
