The
Department of Social Sciences assists
students in developing an ability to acquire
data, understand relationships, process
information, draw conclusions, and
critically evaluate issues related to the
society and culture of the United States and
the world at large. To achieve these aims,
the Department offers courses that support
the College’s various associate and
baccalaureate programs. These courses
include offerings in anthropology, criminal
justice, geography, history, political
