“The field of accounting is one of the top professional fields in business, and our graduates will be able to develop productive careers in a variety of settings. We are excited about the opportunity to work with local and regional businesses who have already expressed interest in our accounting program.”
In addition to meeting the general requirements for a bachelor’s degree in business, the Accounting curriculum includes 24 semester hours in upper-level subjects such as Financial Accounting and Reporting; Tax Compliance and Research; Planning and Control in the Corporate Environment, and others.
Accounting graduates often find placement with CPA firms, public corporations, government, and non-for-profit organizations.
The BBA in Accounting degree will be offered beginning fall semester 2007. Those interested in knowing more about the program are urged to call 706-272-4507.
