Dalton State's Radiologic Technology Club renewed its
commitment to
community service again this semester with two projects,
the club's
annual food drive and a special Christmas card project
that involved
sending personalized cards to an American platoon
serving in Iraq.
Club members collected over 1600 pounds of food for
donation to the
Chattanooga Food Bank's "Share Your Christmas" and
helped unload and
load over 7,000 pounds of food that arrived at the
Northwest Georgia
Trade and Convention Center for distribution by the Food
Bank to area
civic organizations.
