What is the Summer Bridge program?

Summer Bridge is a four-week academic enhancement program offered each summer for incoming Dalton State freshmen.   As qualified by Compass Test scores, students attend English, math, and reading classes, with all Summer Bridge students taking our College Success course. Students also participate in service learning and attend a graduation ceremony at the completion of the program.  Textbooks, classes, and service learning opportunities are all provided free of charge to Summer Bridge participants.
