The Computer Literacy Exam is designed for students graduating from Dalton State College who have not met the Computer Literacy requirement. Enrollment Services will notify students who have applied for graduation and qualify for this exam. Each student will have three opportunities to pass the exam. The Exam is now paper based and is usually completed in less than 30 minutes.
Two copies of the book Discovering Computers 2010, Introductory Edition, by Shelly, Cashman, and Vermat are available on reserve at the circulation desk of Roberts Library. The books may be used in the library, but are not available for check out. Students may study the multiple choice questions at the end of chapters 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 11. There is a strong correlation between studying the material from the text and passing the exam on the first attempt.
Please e-mail the Testing Center for further information or to make an appointment to take the exam.
