The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is a federal program available to students who qualify based on federal guidelines. This program pays tuition, books, and supplies for full-time students. There is also a travel, meal, and childcare allowance to those qualifying. All students interested in applying for WIA must first apply for the Federal Pell Grant and/or the HOPE Grant. To apply for WIA, contact the WIA Office at Dalton State College.
