Biography

Wanda Dugger joined the faculty at Dalton State College in 2015 following the approval of the new Associate in Music Degree.  Her current duties include teaching the applied clarinet and saxophone students and American Music classes.  She performs regularly with the Rome Symphony Orchestra, Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church Orchestra, Dalton Community Band, and various other groups including jazz and musical theater.  Recent performance includes a tour in Portugal with the Metro Big Band and Global Missions Project and she is already planning future trips.  Past teaching experiences include having taught for the Bartow County and Gordon County school systems, clarinet and music education courses at Berry College, and clarinet for Georgia Highlands College.   She currently resides in Kingston, GA with her husband.  She has two children and two wonderful grandsons.
