18 Master's credits in Communication - Tiffin University, Tiffin, OH
I was born into a military family and attended eight different schools from fourth to twelfth grade, so I have been blessed with the experiences of meeting all kinds of people, military and civilian. I find people of all ages to be interesting and enriching to my life. Most of my adult life was lived in Pennsylvania because my parents were originally from the Coal Regions, and my father retired there. In 2007, I moved to Dalton, Georgia to teach several different reading courses to developmental and certificate students. Later, I went to Tiffin University in Ohio and earned the required credits to teach communication. Currently, I am enjoying teaching COMM 1110, Fundamentals of Speech each semester, and I have also taught COMM 1100 Human Communication. This semester, Fall, 2019, I am teaching two courses new to me: COMM 2100 Interpersonal Relations and PRSP1010 Mindset Theory and Cognitive Strategies. Mindset Theory and Cognitive Strategies is a brand new course which I developed this summer for incoming freshmen.
