Biography
My background and interests are in ecotoxicology, wildlife biology, and natural history collections management. I have worked with students on a variety of research projects in these areas. My upcoming research will focus on a small mammal survey of the protected areas surrounding Park Creek Elementary school. I would love to have students involved in this project. If you are interested, please email me at khays@daltonstate.edu. Additionally, I have a passion for working with students on career and professional development and thinking about how their Dalton State degree will translate into the workforce or further education. I also serve as the Faculty Athletics Representative for Dalton State College and Eligibility Chair for the Southern States Athletic Conference.
