Biography

Before my tenure at Dalton State College, I conducted research focusing on microbiology, biological preservation, probiotics and biotechnology at Auburn University.  Here at DSC, I continue to explore these areas of research focusing mainly on teaching microbiological research skills to undergraduate students.

When I am not preparing for classes, teaching or teaching undergraduate research, I like to spend my leisure time playing with my dogs, hula hooping and slinging mud in my pottery studio.
