Biography

Dr. Akdeniz completed his B.S. degree in Chemistry at Hacettepe University. He was involved in the undergraduate research program with the thesis of “Interactions of a Cumarin Derivative with Deoxyribonucleic Acid and Bovine Serum Albumin by Fluorimetric Methods”. He received his Ph.D. in Photochemical Sciences at Bowling Green State University. His dissertation was Detection of Enantiomeric Excess in Chiral Carboxylate drugs Detection of Enantiomeric Excess in Chiral Carboxylate drugs.
