Biography
Kelson Smith is an Associate Professor of Industrial Electrical and Electronic Technology at Dalton State College. He has previously served as a Telecommunications Technician, Assistant Engineer, Training Supervisor, Lecturer in Electronics and Associate Dean. He received a Full Technological Certificate in Telecommunications from the City & Guilds of London Institute and a BSEE from the Pennsylvania State University. He is presently pursuing a MS in Applied Engineering.
In addition to teaching technology courses, Kelson enjoys teaching developmental mathematics. He has also developed some foundational electrical engineering courses.
Kelson’s other interests and activities include: Bible teaching, classical guitar music and traveling. He is married to Linda, who shares his love of teaching, and they have two adult children. He has lived and worked in Bermuda, England and the United States.
