The Dalton State Foundation is Dalton State’s friend-raising and fundraising partner, building relationships and encouraging private philanthropic support
from alumni and friends.
A 501(c)(3) corporation, the Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of individuals committed to the advancement of Dalton State and its continuing expansion to serve the evolving higher education needs of Northwest Georgia.

In addition to its donor relations and fundraising activities, the Foundation oversees the institution's alumni relations programming, including alumni events and the quarterly Dalton State magazine
for alumni and friends.
As part of its campus-to-community relations, the Foundation sponsors the Dalton State Lunch & Learn series, open to the public, which showcases the talent of Dalton State faculty in a casual lunchtime setting, and an annual children's summer science camp that is led by faculty from the School of Science, Technology & Mathematics.
