Dalton State Presents ‘Godspell’

Featuring an eclectic blend of songs ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, a small group of followers helps Jesus Christ through different parables using a variety of games, storytelling techniques, and comic timing in the musical “Godspell,” which will be performed at Dalton State later this month.

The musical will run nightly at 8 from Friday – Sunday April, 20-22 in the upper level of Dalton State’s Pope Student Center. Tickets cost $7 online at Event Brite (www.eventbrite.com/e/godspell-tickets-44374105143?aff=es2) or at the door. It is free to current Dalton State students, faculty, and staff with their Roadrunner Card.

“As far as I know this is the first time a musical has been performed at Dalton State,” said Kim Correll lecturer in communication and theater and director of the musical. “I am so excited for everyone to see this amazing cast. They are so talented and so dedicated. I believe you will be highly entertained and uplifted by this show.” 

The cast includes Steven Green, Jake Baker, Inna Kouznaieva, Britni Shipp, Chloe Gray, Kristen West, Madison Hammons, Clare Ballantyne, Nick Hickman, and Will Hardin. The crew includes Christie Murphree, Kayla Hawkins, and Alex Smith.
