Dalton State Hosts USG Strategic Planning Forum

08/29/19

The University System of Georgia is hosting several public forums throughout the state as part of the system’s strategic planning effort.

The new strategic plan will set the system’s agenda for the next five years and beyond, making community input crucial. This is an opportunity for faculty, staff and students at USG institutions and the general public to weigh in on how the system will face challenges and opportunities in public higher education across the state.

Dalton State College hosts one of the forums on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. in the Goodroe Auditorium in Gignilliat Memorial Hall. Parking is available adjacent to the building.

More information is available on the system website, https://www.usg.edu/strategic_planning.

Other forums will be Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. at Georgia State University; Monday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. at Fort Valley State University; Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. at Valdosta State University; and Thursday, Sept. 19 at 3:15 p.m. at the Savanna Convention Center.
