What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? It means being part of a community that values excellence in all we do, and sees the best in each other.
What do you like best about being at Dalton State? We have the best students, faculty, and staff!
What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? I enjoy playing trivia and attending performances at our two awesome local theatres, not to mention the amazing Dalton State College theatre department shows!
What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? Every time I get to attend a graduation ceremony is the best part of the year. Also, I got to meet all the turtles once. That was really cool!
What is your favorite part about your job? Hearing about the research projects students and faculty are doing, and being able to help them with it.
What is the last book you read? “Slapstick” by Kurt Vonnegut
If you won the lottery, what would you do? I'd give part of it to our local animal shelters, and also take a trip. If I won enough money, I'd love to see Australia!
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I'd like to learn how to do CPR. It seems like it would be useful, just in case.
What cheers you up? Kittens and baking.
What is your favorite book? I can't pick just one!
What is your favorite childhood memory? I spent Christmas morning once when I was about 11 watching baby sea turtles hatching from their nest and scrambling toward the ocean.
If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? Shakespeare - seems like he'd be fun to meet.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? A grownup, lol.
