Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State, because it was close to home and my mother is a Dalton State alumna. Now, I stay, because this school offers so many amazing opportunities, great professors, and I get to see Dalton State grow every day!

What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan to get my master’s of social work.

What activities are you involved in on campus? I am an orientation leader for our school. I am the philanthropy chair of AOII. So I plan a few events on campus, like our annual Smoke Out event. I have recently joined the Social Work Club. I also attend most of the events that our RSOs plan as well.

What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? Earning a spot on the Dean’s List and receiving a scholarship from the Dalton State Foundation.

Where is your favorite study spot? The library.

What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? There’s so many here! My favorite memory would have to be becoming an orientation leader, because I work with other amazing students and get to meet incoming students all the time. I get to share my passion for Dalton State with these new Roadrunners.

What is the last book you read? “The Outsiders”

Favorite comfort food? Mac ‘n cheese!

If you had a theme song, what would it be? “The Game of Thrones” intro song.

What is your guilty pleasure? The Bachelor and Pokémon Go!

If you won the lottery, what would you do? Give most of it to my parents because they deserve it.

What cheers you up? My dog, Emma. She is a pug that’s always doing really amusing things.

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? Elvis Presley. My mom loves Elvis, so I would have to take her with me.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? It means so much! Dalton State College has offered me so many opportunities to grow. There are things I have learned that I will be able to take into my future after college. I have learned confidence and leadership skills at this school. Roadrunner Nation is filled with opportunities for all students. I am surrounded by so many gifted students and professors. Being a part of Roadrunner Nation means being a part of family. I look forward to my next two years at Dalton State College with my family!
