Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State for the small campus community, affordable tuition cost, and my sister being a DSC alumni.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? It means having the advantage of being a Roadrunner in a community to enjoy, assist and utilize the great aspects of resources and services provided!

What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan to attend pharmacy school after a gap year of gaining experience in the pharm related field.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? My favorite professor was Dr. Scott because she taught organic chemistry and biochemistry in an enjoyable way. I appreciated her added cat and organic chemistry memes on her PowerPoint slides. She also cares about the success of all her students.

What activities are you involved in on campus? I am involved in the Peer Educator Leadership Team as the Math and Science Learning Center Coordinator and I am a peer tutor/MSLC science assistant. I am also a member of Art Club, Beta Chi Nu, Chemistry Honor Society and participating in undergraduate research with Dr. Shim.

Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite study spot are the study rooms in the library or the MSLC!

Where is your favorite hangout? My favorite hangout is in the overflow room in the Dean of Students to spend time with the Peer Education Leadership Team or Peer Educators, or the café.

What’s on your iPad? Notability, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, Google Sheets, Scanner Pro, SharePoint, Pinterest, Word, Office, Pandora, Hulu, YouTube and Quizlet.

If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be? My phone, cat, AirPods, Trader Joe’s junk foods, and my alarm clock

Favorite comfort food? French fries.

What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I want to learn to surf! The ocean is very peaceful and it will be an interesting new workout.

What cheers you up? My cat Winter!

Who is your hero? My aunt (I call her “imo” in Korean) because she guides me to make wise financial decisions and to not stress with classes.

What is your favorite app? Instagram.

What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite memory would be when my sister and I went to arcades and added our tickets together to receive the large prizes.

Where is your favorite place to eat? I’m a big foodie so I have a lot of favorites. I say try the catfish tacos at Boathouse!

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be an OB/GYN.

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? To Run Boldly means to try your best towards something you enjoy learning. The more effort you invest into something, the more people that will acknowledge your work which can result in an increase of opportunities.
