Why did you choose Dalton State? The school has a great, friendly environment, and it is affordable.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? To me, being a part of Roadrunner Nation means being able to accomplish whatever goals I wish to accomplish with my life.

What do you plan to do after graduation? Honestly, I’m still not 100 percent sure what I want to do after graduation. I know I would love to do something related to the film industry.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? Dr. Marjorie Yambor. She is friendly, and I have always had a great time in her classes. You can tell how much she loves what she teaches and it helps make her classroom a fun inviting place.

What activities are you involved in on campus? I recently got hired on as an associate at the Dalton State Bookstore, and the environment has been awesome.

Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite study place is either the cubby holes of lower Pope or upstairs in the cafeteria. It really depends on the time of day and the mood I am in at the time.

What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? My best memory of Dalton State has to be the people I have met. I have become friends with some of the greatest people ever through the school, and I could not be more grateful.

What is the last book you read? One of my favorite books, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café by Frannie Flagg

Favorite comfort food? I have a crazy obsession with nachos.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? Anything off of the album Moondance by Van Morrison

Favorite line from a movie? “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”

If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would first buy my parents a house. Then, I would go on a lot of exotic vacations around the world.

What cheers you up? Cuddling up in bed with a great movie.

What is your favorite book? The Princess Bride by William Goldman

What is your favorite childhood memory? Spending weekends on my grandmother’s houseboat on a lake in Tennessee.

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? I would love to meet filmmaker Lois Webber, the first woman to ever direct a feature-length film. She was influential in the roles of woman in the film industry.

What is your favorite app? Either Twitter or Instagram. I can never decide.

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? Run Boldly means not being afraid to work hard for what your goals. Take chances and chances and be true yourself while you are accomplishing those goals.
