Why did you choose Dalton State? I originally chose Dalton State because it was close to home and gave me the opportunity to do Dual Enrollment. I came to realize it was one of the best decisions I have made because I have met so many amazing people and have had many great opportunities come up, as a result!

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? When I hear “Roadrunner Nation” I think of a big family, that will support you through your journey of finding what it is that you are passionate about and that will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone to achieve your goals!

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? I have had many amazing professors, but one that definitely stands out to me is Dr. Gonzalez. I’ve enjoyed every subject that he has taught me because he explains the material in an interesting and understandable way.

What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? Hiking the Disney Trail and discovering the many shops and restaurants that Dalton has to offer

Where is your favorite study spot? Math Lab

Where is your favorite hangout? The turf field next to Bandy Gym

What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? As a part of CAB, I was given the opportunity to go to the Collegiate Leadership Conference at UGA in Athens. It was one of the best experiences of my life because I got to learn what it means to be a great leader, build my self-confidence, and meet other leaders from Dalton State who have had a major impact on my life!

What is the last book you read? “The Magnolia Story” by Chip and Joanna Gaines

Favorite line from a movie? “You is kind. You is smart. You is important.” -The Help

What is your guilty pleasure? Singing in the car

If you won the lottery, what would you do? Pay off debt, give to family and friends, create a charity, invest in my own businesses, and travel the world

What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I would like to learn to play guitar because I have always wanted to be able to play Christmas music around the holidays.

What cheers you up? Hanging out with friends and family, last minute plans to go to places I love, and the little things in life.

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? Thomas Edison – While it took up to 1,000 unsuccessful attempts to create a more efficient lightbulb, he kept persevering to make his dream a reality, and I strive for that level of greatness and optimism in life.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I remember wanting to be a pediatrician, veterinarian, inventor, entrepreneur, author, and talent agent throughout my childhood. I was a very indecisive kid, and for the people that know me, I still am.

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? To Run Boldly means to never stop chasing your dreams, and do whatever is in your power to achieve them!
