Why did you choose Dalton State? It is affordable and gives me a quality education.

What do you plan to do after graduation?  I plan to gain my associate degree at Dalton State and transfer to another school to complete my bachelor’s degree.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? My favorite professor is Dr. Thomas Veve because he provides a learning environment that is more than just what is on the curriculum for the class. When you go into Dr. Veve’s class you learn something that’s not just new but different.

What activities are you involved in on campus? I am currently a senator at-large for the Student Government Association at Dalton State College. I am the president and founder of the African Student Association and also vice president and co-founder of the Rotaract Club of Dalton. I am an office assistant at the Center for International Education and an active member of Dalton State International.

What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? My greatest achievements so far include founding and co-founding the Rotaract Club of Dalton and African Student Association at the same time. I represented Dalton State College at the Georgia Collegiate Leadership Conference, participated in their case study competition, and came in third place. I was nominated for the fifth annual Dalton State College Student Leadership Awards, and invited as a speaker at the Dalton Rotary Banquet.

Where is your favorite hangout? My favorite hangout spot is definitely the Pope Student Center.

What is the last book you read? “Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry” by Mildred D. Taylor

Favorite line from a movie? Cruising down the street in my 64 from Straight Outta Compton

What do you feel most proud of? My faith

If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be? My rosary, my Bible, my wallet, my clothes, and a picture of my family.

If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would definitely donate at least 50 percent to charity and invest the rest.

What cheers you up? Music absolutely cheers me up.

Who would play you in the movie version of your life? Either Jamie Foxx or Chadwick Boseman would be nice but I’ll probably end up choosing myself.

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? Jesus Christ

What is your favorite app? An anime app called Crunchyroll

What did you want to be when you were a kid? A musical artist and a scientist.
