Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose to attend Dalton State College because of the small class sizes, affordability, and closeness to home.

What do you plan to do after graduation?  I am particularly interested in the medical field, so I plan to further my education at a professional or graduate school.

What activities are you involved in on campus? I am involved with several activities here on campus.  I am involved with chemistry research with Dr. Tricia Scott.  I am a tutor and supplemental instruction leader for Academic Resources, an active member of the Pre-Health Professionals and Student Government Association, and the president of Beta Chi Nu, Dalton State’s chapter of the National Biological Honor Society.

What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? I have been on the Dean’s list consistently over the past three and a half years, and I hope to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. I have never missed a day of class, and I received the Shining Star Leadership Award for my dedication to involvement in campus life and my commitment to enhancing Dalton State College.

Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite place to study would be in the far right corner of my home in my nice and quiet office space.

What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? There are so many memories I will take from this school, but some of my best ones were when I was accepted into the Human Dissection course and was able to work with a very small group of students on a human cadaver.

What is your favorite childhood memory? Putting on skits with one of my best friends and playing a variety of different characters

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet?  My grandparents. I would love to see them in their younger days and see how my parents were shaped into who they are by how they were raised.

Where is your favorite place to eat? Lalito’s Mexican Restaurant

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to either be a crime detective or an elementary school teacher.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? Being a part of Roadrunner Nation means everything. There is no way I would be where I am today without the support from the Dalton State community. I am very grateful for the opportunities that were given to me while attending this school, and I couldn’t imagine finishing my degree anywhere else. This school has shaped me into the individual I am, and I couldn’t be more proud of how Roadrunner Nation continues to transform lives.
