Why did you choose Dalton State? Dalton State has a great English program along with a great staff to teach it.
What do you plan to do after graduation? My long term goal is to earn my doctorate so that I can teach at the college level.
Who is/was your favorite professor and why? Dr. Leslie Harrelson is by far my favorite teacher. We have known each other for over 10 years now. She has become more than my academic advisor. She is a great friend. She truly cares for her students and shows it any way she can.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I really want to become involved in the theatre productions that the College puts on every semester.
Where is your favorite study spot? My couch is definitely my favorite study spot.
Where is your favorite hangout? I have several spots but honestly anywhere I'm surrounded by friends.
What is the last book you read? “The Accidental Tourist” by Anne Tyler
Favorite comfort food? Ben and Jerry’s ice cream

If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be? My bible, my car, my phone, my grandmother's ring, and my waffle iron.
If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would quit work and go to school full time. I would do more mission work. I would do a lot for my parents.
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I want to learn sign language to maybe make things easier for deaf people who come into my work place.
Who is your hero? My dad. He is the strongest person I know. He is completely selfless and does anything he can to help others. He loves my mom, myself, and my brothers unconditionally.
What is your favorite childhood memory? Every summer my grandparents took my family with them on a two week vacation. We traveled all over the United States in their motorhome. Because of my grandparents, I've been to every state but two and into Canada.
If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? Jesus
Where is your favorite place to eat? My favorite food is steak and my favorite place to get that is Longhorn.
What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? Being able to come back to school means the world to me. Even though it is starting out slow, it still means that I am finally getting a chance to truly make something of myself. Despite my past mistakes and where that has placed my GPA, Dalton State has given me another chance to prove myself.
