What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? I have had some amazing opportunities while attending Dalton State. After Spring Break 2020, I will have attended three Alternative Break Trips organized by the SAVE team. I was also honored to be a part of the study abroad trip to China in the summer of 2019. Following my freshman year, I was nominated and am now a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I was also given the honor of being a representative on the Dalton State 2020 Homecoming Court. Each of these opportunities have been wonderful accomplishments and experiences while here at Dalton State, but my greatest achievement thus far has been maintaining my 4.0 GPA.

What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? I love to hike! Dalton has many beautiful hiking, walking, and biking trails. The campus at Dalton State is also home to many of my favorite trails. I think the best one is out near the Brown building that leads to a beautiful waterfall.

Where is your favorite study spot? In the Health Professions building, there are some empty offices. My friends and I use those spaces for study sessions during our class breaks. I love these study spots because they are secluded, quiet, and one even has a window view! The public safety officers are also super sweet and say hello to us as they pass by.

Where is your favorite hangout? My favorite hangout would probably be the Roadrunner Café. I love going there because I get to see my coworkers, talk to a variety of students, and eat some yummy food!

What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? My best memory has been my trip to China for study abroad. It was a great way for me to step out of my comfort zone and grow personally and professionally.
