Why did you choose Dalton State? God led me here, and I have loved it ever since I stepped foot on this campus!
What do you plan to do after graduation? After graduation, I plan to attend Emory’s Laney Graduate School for the immunology program.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I am involved in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Student Life as an Orientation Leader, and a Resident Assistant in Mashburn Hall at Roadrunner Place.
Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite study spot is a tie between upper level Peeples and the second floor of the library.
Where is your favorite hangout? My favorite hangout is the picnic tables in front the Pope Center. I always run into friends, and we're able to catch up, or have a quick study session.
What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? My best memory as a part of Roadrunner Nation was during our annual open mic night. A student played A Thousand Years by Christina Perri on the piano, and everyone in the audience sang along. In the very moment, the sense of family here became so evident for me.
What is the last book you read? “For the Love: Fighting for Grace in a World of Impossible Standards” by Jen Hatmaker
Favorite comfort food? French fries!
Favorite line from a movie? If I could quote every line from the Narnia Chronicles I would, but one that really hits home is "So, what was it like... when Aslan changed you back? No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't do it myself. Then he came towards me. It sort of hurt, but... it was a good pain. You know, like when you pull a thorn from your foot."
If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be? My Bible, My colorful pens, a journal, a violin, and a Polaroid camera.
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? A skill I would like to learn is the ability to read people, such as their body language and the deeper meaning behind the words they speak. There is a lot to understand about humanity that is not on the surface.
What cheers you up? The small things cheer me up! For example, people smiling or laughing, and a good cup of tea.
What is your favorite book? “The Chronicles of Narnia”

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a pediatrician.
What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? When I think of Roadrunner Nation, I imagine a movement. A movement where students, faculty, as well as family members realize the potential that is within them, and allowing Dalton State to be that very place for the growth to occur. Many say that college is the time where you become the person you've always wanted to be and where the most growth occurs. I believe that occurs in a special way here. We are molding our peers into what they aspire to be thus progressing our nation as a whole into everything that it could be.
