Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State as it is in a great area, close to Atlanta where I have family, and I wanted to be a part of a brand-new college soccer program and build a tradition. I looked at coming to Dalton State as a challenge. I am a city boy and moving to a small town was definitely a huge change.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? Being part of the Roadrunner Nation has allowed me to excel both academically and athletically while also having a huge involvement in the local community. The support from everyone involved with the college is next level.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I have hopes to continue my soccer career at the professional level as well as making plans to attend either chiropractic or physical therapy school.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? It is hard to single out just one. My top five were, Dr. Collison, Dr. Hays, Dr. Chenoweth, Dr. Meyer, and Dr. Smitherman. Each one of these professors go out of their way to help guide students in the right direction, ensuring that each student performs to the best of their ability.

What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? Making the dean’s list multiple times, exceling on the soccer field, and being named Culprit Athletics “Athlete of the year” for 2018.

What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? Regularly visit local families of whom I have built strong relationships with over the past few years, attend local events in downtown Dalton and take regular trips to both Chattanooga and Atlanta.

Where is your favorite study spot? The library

What is the last book you read? The Science of Personal Achievement by Tony Robbins

Favorite comfort food? Indian food

If you had a theme song, what would it be? “Live Your Life, Be Free” by Erick Morrilo

Favorite line from a movie? “You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can’t do somethin’ themselves. They wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want somethin’ go get it. Period.” Will Smith, Pursuit of Happiness.

What do you feel most proud of? The person that I have become over the past few years.

If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be? My grandmothers' necklace, photograph of my parents, letters from my friend, my passport and my cologne (always got to smell good).

If you won the lottery, what would you do? Pay for whatever my family need and donate the rest to someone who needs it more.

Who is your hero? My parents.

Who would play you in the movie version of your life? Jim Carrey

What is your favorite childhood memory? Kicking a concrete ball on vacation and almost breaking my foot. I would kick anything that was shaped like a football (soccer ball).

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? To me, Run Boldly means to attack every walk of life with perseverance, to live every day with gratitude and to use solidarity to engage with both peers and strangers.
