Chief Michael Masters has been with the Department of Public Safety since September 2001. Michael worked at the Dalton Police Department and private industry before coming to work at Dalton State. He currently manages the department.

Lt.  Elicia Walker has been with the Department of Public Safety since June 2010. Elicia started her Law Enforcement career with our department, and is now second in command of the department. She currently supervises the day shift.

Officer Heather Woods has been with the Department of Public Safety since the fall of 2011. Heather worked for the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office before joining our department. She currently supervises the evening shift.

Desiree Browder has been with the Department of Public Safety since August 2009. Desiree worked at a local 911 Center before coming to work at Dalton State. She currently is the communications supervisor and works the day shift.
