Dalton State's Theatre for Young People Performs for Area Schools

Dalton State’s Theatre for Young People has taken a production of a children’s play on the road to local area elementary schools.

Pictured are Froggie and Mousie, Cameron Hood and Inna Kouzniaeva, respectively, in a production of “Froggie Went a Courtin’” at Roan School recently.

The play is under the direction of Kim Correll, lecturer in communication and theatre. The theatre group began in one of Correll’s classes in the fall. Students rehearse, make costumes, and build the set during class.

The cast also includes: Jake Baker, Madison Hammons, Britni Shipp, Will Hardin, Mikayla Hawkins, Beth Sanford, and Kristen West.
