Welcome to the Department of Associate Degree Nursing webpage!! Our mission is to prepare students for employment as safe, effective, caring nurse generalists who provide healthcare throughout the community, region, and state. We provide a supportive and caring teaching/learning environment which recognizes and values the cultural, ethnic, and gender diversity of our student population. The ASN curriculum is designed to meet the needs of various educational backgrounds and abilities through our plans I, II, or III. We also offer an opportunity for LPNs to exempt Nursing 1111, Nursing 1112, and Nursing 1113 after selection to the program. The ASN program includes general education and nursing courses to supply students with the knowledge and clinical expertise necessary to give direct nursing care to patients/clients of all ages in a variety of clinical settings.

Should you have questions or need additional information after reviewing the nursing website, please email or call. I look forward to answering your questions and providing any information that will help you choose Dalton State College and Nursing as a means to your career choice.
