C. Lamar and Ann WRIGHT SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
Dalton State College's C. Lamar and Ann Wright School of Business (WSOB) offers six AACSB-accredited (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) bachelor's degree programs to serve and positively impact Northwest Georgia and the surrounding region. Our mission is to provide innovative educational opportunities and create a knowledgeable, engaged graduate prepared to add value to an ever-changing business community. And we do so in a modern, award-winning, over $10 million, 50,000 square foot space completed in 2019 in Gignilliat Hall, home of the Wright School of Business. Our classrooms wired with the latest technology, including motion sensing cameras and microphones to host virtual international guests, a new classroom wing, open areas for meetings and gatherings, outside seating, a multipurpose BizHub space for seminars and classes, a finance lab with a world clock, glass boardrooms, stock tickers (in finance and the atrium), a marketing focus group lab, and a forthcoming rooftop patio, all enhance learning for our business students.
The WSOB at Dalton State College was initially accredited in 2010 and has maintained its premier business accreditation by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools. AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education achieved by 5.7% of the world's business programs (approximately 900 business schools in more than 100 countries and territories).
