 China      (May 18- June 5, 2018)

Explore Zhengzhou, China for an educational Summer experience. This program will be more than two weeks long. There are two courses that are available for those interested in education. Educ2110: Current and Contemporary Issues in Education and Educ3124: Exploratory Activities in Physical Education, Art, and Music. Both courses taught by instructor: Molly Zhou.

Mexico  (March 9-17, 2018)

Students will have the opportunity to work with children from Mexico while teaching the different genres of literature. Students will cover content for the course during the evening hours in a classroom with access to a computer lab. Two courses offered: Children's Literature and ESOL Culture and Education.

London     (May 16-31, 2018)

Read Chaucer and travel to Canterbury. Read Shakespeare and tour the Global Theatre. Study ancient cultures and view their art firsthand at the British Museum. Learn about Henry VIII and follow his footsteps at Hampton Court. Students will have the opportunity to earn 3-6 credit hours of Gen. Ed. requirements while studying early British literature and/or world cultures firsthand through visits to historical sites and cultural artifacts. Spain-Madrid  (June 28 -  August 3, 2018)

Consider studying during the summer in Madrid, the geographic center of Spain and the historic center of the entire Hispanic world. The city of four million is a modern European hub with state-of-the-art transportation and cyber cafes, but its Old World charm shines through in its long afternoon siestas, its warm and friendly people, and its majestic monuments of Spain's glorious past. Students will have the opportunity to visit flamenco clubs, the bullfight, tapas bars, and world-class museums, as well as to participate in Madrid's seemingly endless nightlife, as the streets overflow with people having a glass of sangria, talking to neighbors, and in general, enjoying life in this vibrant city.

Ireland-Waterford    (June 14 - July 19, 2018)
Live and study for five weeks in Ireland’s oldest city! See the cultural, artistic, and historical treasures which have made Ireland a destination for generations!  Waterford, once a walled settlement of Viking origins, retains much of its medieval character together with graceful cathedrals and townhouses from its 18th century expansion. The program fee includes two program trips to Dublin, a three-day stay in Killarney, Co. Kerry in the rugged West of Ireland, and eight day trips across the gorgeous mountains and valleys of southeastern Ireland to take in some of Europe’s most outstanding castles, stately homes, gardens, ecclesiastical sites, and prehistoric monuments.

    China-Zhengzhou  (General Studies Program)  (May 8 -June 5, 2018)

Explore the splendid culture and history of China, discover the ancient wonders such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the terra cotta army, and witness the breathtaking transformation of Chinese people, economy, and society. The four-week program will take to the historical cities of Beijing, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Kaifeng and Shanghai, and give hand-on experience with Chinese martial art, acupuncture, calligraphy, and language. Dalton State Affiliated Programs


Knowledge Exchange Institute (KEI) has an affiliated agreement with Dalton State. Students who enroll in one of their study abroad programs will receive $500 discount on program fee and application fee waiver, and will be eligible for its study abroad scholarship. KEI currently offers summer study abroad programs in the following countries: China (Beijing), Ecuador (Guayaquil), England (London), France (Paris), India (Pune), Ireland (Dublin), Italy (Milan), Japan (Akita), Kenya (Nairobi), Peru (Lima & Cuzco), Russia (Moscow), Scotland (Edinbburgn), Spain( Barcelona), Tanzania (Dar es Saam), Thailand (Bankok), and Turkey (Istanbul). KEI also offers many internship programs as well.

International Studies Abroad (ISA) has an affiliated agreement with Dalton State.
